The International Conference on Cyclotrons and their Applications has a long history, dating back to the 1950s. The conference takes place every 3 years with the most recent events being held in Cape Town/South Africa (2019), Zurich/Switzerland (2016), and Vancouver/Canada (2013).
The 23rd international conference on cyclotrons and their applications (CYC2022) will take place in Beijing, P. R. China on December 5-9, 2022. The China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) will be hosting the conference. The CYC2022 will be held in the form of a virtual conference.
The conference presentations will include invited talks, oral contributions, and posters. All colleagues interested in the related fields of the cyclotrons and their applications are cordially invited to participate in the conference and present contributions. Noting the rapid development of cyclotrons in the medical field in recent years, the topic "Cyclotron in Medicine" is added to this conference to encourage participants from hospitals.
Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19, the preparation for the conference is very tight. Please pay more attention to the important dates of the conference, and submit your abstracts timely. And please notice that there will be no cancellation policy for this conference. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The Cyclotron Conference every 3 years is a rare opportunity for our cyclotron community to meet and exchange ideas. It is regrettable that this conference cannot be held in person. This is the first time in virtual for the Cyclotron Conference. Let's work together and look forward to meeting you in December online.
